News - Product launch of SafeSpon - Hemostatic sponge (01/13/2010)

We are proud to introduce a new addition to the high quality Medicom product range - Safespon – hemostatic sponge made of lyophilized hydrolyzed collagen (gelatine). Safespon is sterile hemostatic absorbable gelatine sponge and it is made of pure pharmaceutical gelatine, from porcine origin. SafeSpon is indicated for the control of bleeding during and after dental surgical procedures as tooth extractions and periodontal surgery due its high hemostatic and healing power.

INDICATIONS
• Treatment of alveoli and wound cavities after: extractions, apical amputations, maxillary sinus perforations, other surgical treatments.
• Prophylaxis of secondary cavity formation, wound infections, hemorrhage prophylaxis.
